BONES
A schoolgirl who became pregnant at the age of 11 is set to break the record for being the UK's youngest mother. Now aged 12, she has told a national newspaper how she is "really excited" about the prospect of having a child after losing her virginity to a boy aged 15 in Edinburgh. She is due to give birth in a few weeks, breaking the record set by Jenny Teague of Dorset, who had a baby aged 12 years and nine months in 1997. The girl, who has not been named, told The Sun: "I think I'll be able to cope as I've had lots of practice looking after my brothers." She feared that she might be pregnant after having unprotected sex with the boy on a night out with friends in Edinburgh last August. The pregnancy was confirmed with the help of a supermarket home-testing kit. Her 34-year-old mother told the newspaper: "I'm not ashamed of my daughter at all - in fact, I'm proud of her for keeping her baby." The mum-to-be, who smokes up to 20 cigarettes a day according to the newspaper, said she hoped the baby would be a boy. "I'm enjoying being pregnant - even though I get a bit of a sore back and sore ribs," she said. A friend from the UK emailed me the article and the thing I find completly stupid is where she says "I didn't know you could get pregnant on your first go." WTH is wrong with this chick jeez and the mother what a complete idiot.

I can already tell ya, she's gonna have 3 or 4 kids by the time she's 18.

What i meant was..*Edinbrugheese talk*Where i live things like that are not uncommon. I know about a handfull of girls who have found therselves in the same possition. Only years older.Someone in my year at school, meaning she was my age.Managed to get herself pregnant but didn't want to tell anyone. She hid it for a month until one day her and her friend decided to drink in school. On that day she got caught drinking, she went to her guidance teachers office to get her punishment (shut up) and ended up telling her the whole thing.Obviously her parents got told and she got an abortion.Isn't that sad?sad how it doesn't really phase anyone who knows about it because we're used to it.
