She replied: a can of peaches. The judge asked her why she had stolen them and she replied that she was hungry. The judge then asked her how many peaches were in the can. She replied 6. The judge then said, "I will give you 6 days in jail." Before the judge could actually pronounce the punishment the woman's husband spoke up and asked the judge if he could say something. AnGeLiA Posted January 8, 2006 Report Share Posted January 8, 2006 ohhh i get it (i think). since there were 6 peaches in the can the lady stole, she got 6 days in jail. so if the judge dealt w/ it the same way for the can of peas, the lady would have like two months in jail. haha. i'm not sure if i'm right or not, but i think i am.
