Right — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and it's stuck on my phone, reckon I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I'm based in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.

What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could work out what an ew return would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the one I'm on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it spits out returns straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that's where I always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it's over at kelly calculator sports betting and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that actually changed how I bet is the nerdier extras. There's an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious how much the bookie's taking, and a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I'm covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. The interface is pretty plain — no frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it's fine but the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there's no proper app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.

Right, that's me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If anyone still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
