Right — have been messing about with this thing for something like five months now and I keep coming back, reckon I'd write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am UK based, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I never could figure out what an ew payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I'd wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now I type the odds in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows returns straight away, either odds format. There's also the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where I always lose track. If you want a look, it's over at how to work out each way bets and it's free with no account nonsense.

One thing that actually changed how I bet was the more serious extras. There's an probability thing which shows you how much the bookie's taking, and there's the kelly tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one is decent for when I'm splitting a race.

It's not perfect mind. The design is pretty plain — zero flash, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On my phone it's usable although the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there's nothing on the app store, it's browser only — slight shame just flagging it.

Anyway. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone still does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and it's stuck on my phone, reckon I'd say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I'm in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an each way payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I'd just wing it and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the one I'm on daily — you put in stake and odds and you get returns with no faffing, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that's where I always got it wrong. If you want a look, it lives at smarkets calculator and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.

What really made a difference were the geekier bits. There's an probability converter that shows the overround, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too if I'm spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. The interface is very functional, let's say — no polish, it's clearly function over form. On mobile it works but the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There's nothing on the app store, it's browser only — doesn't bother me just flagging it.

Right, that's me. Doesn't cost anything, barely any ads, works. Anyone who even now does the maths on paper, try it — it's saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.
