Guest single_akOl
OK — been using this thing for maybe six months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I'd say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I'm UK based, mainly bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like. The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never figure out what an each way return actually came to when the place terms changed. I'd just eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt. The single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — type in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where most people I know got it wrong. If you want a look, it's over at betting converter odds and there's no login wall, which I appreciated. The thing that genuinely made a difference were the more serious bits. They've got an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is handy too when I'm covering two or three runners. Not all sunshine though. Its design is a bit basic — no frills, it's clearly function over form. On my phone it's usable although the bigger tables are a squeeze. And no proper app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying. Right, that's me. Free, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments.

Guest single_qmOl
OK — been on this thing for maybe four months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I'd write something up since a mate asked me last week. I'm based in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, just so you know where I'm coming from. What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I couldn't ever figure out what an ew return actually was once you get five places instead of three. I'd just eyeball it and get a shock. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt. Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get the return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that's where I'd always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it's over at lucky 63 kalkulátor — free, no signup. One thing that actually made a difference was the nerdier tools. There's an odds-to-probability converter which shows you the overround, and there's the kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit for when I'm splitting a race. It's not perfect mind. The layout feels pretty plain — no frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On my phone it works though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And nothing on the app store, it's browser only — fine by me but worth saying. Right, that's me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
