I'm based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context. What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I never could work out what an ew payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I'd just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet. Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that's where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it lives at odds format converter and there's no login wall, which I appreciated. One thing that genuinely shifted things for me was the nerdier extras. The probability thing and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent when I'm splitting a race. Not all sunshine though. The design is very functional, let's say — not much frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it's usable but the bigger tables are a squeeze. And no proper app, it's a website and that's it — doesn't bother me but you asked. So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that's where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it's over at kelly strategy calculator and there's no login wall, which I appreciated. The thing that genuinely made a difference were the more serious tools. There's an odds-to-probability thing which shows you what margin's baked in, and there's the kelly staking tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent for when I'm covering two or three runners. Couple of gripes. The layout feels a bit basic — zero frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. Phone-wise it works but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. Also there's nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn't bother me but worth saying. So yeah. Doesn't cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who honestly adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me a fair few dumb bets I'd have regretted.
