Empty pop can

Cement

 

Step one: Fill can with cement

 

Step two: Place can in hallway

 

This is good fun if you're around watching. Just about everyone'll kick a can if it's laying on the ground somewhere. I'm sure you can use your imagination to figure out what happens. Cement Can + Foot = Ow.

Very nice, simple and effective. If you can't find any cement try findin a construction site nearest you, they often have wet cement after everyone has left, another idea is using ink. Fill the can with ink you can purchase from a school supply store and then when someone kicks it, it goes everywhere. If they kick it real hard too they might get some splash back by themselves, works best indoors, not out

For some real fun, fill it with pee... Not your own of course, because that contains DNA.

 

Either that or take the time to trim the top off, tape up the opening where the pull tab is, rubber cement a couple of rocks on it, let it dry. Also rubber glue the can where you cut the lid off (and the lid itself). The idea is when you press it together, it'll lightly grab on, but when kicked, the weight on the lid will cause it to come off. Then when ready, stuff a lot of (roaches, spiders, whatever) in there and put the lid on. There should be enough little gaps for the critters to breathe. Then perform the gag.
