Guest single_ummr
Right — been on this thing for about a few months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I'd say something since someone asked me the other day. I'm UK based, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context. The reason I started using it was actually a bit daft — I couldn't ever work out what an e/w payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt. The single bet calculator is the part I open most — type in your stake, the odds and you get the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, which is where I'd always got it wrong. If you want a look, it lives at save the student matched betting calculator — free, no signup. What really shifted things for me was the geekier bits. They've got an odds-to-probability thing that shows the overround, and there's the kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is handy too when I'm covering two or three runners. Couple of gripes. The layout feels very functional, let's say — zero frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On mobile it's usable but the acca grid are a squeeze. There's no proper app, it's a website and that's it — doesn't bother me but you asked. Right, that's me. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If you still works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saved me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments. Guest single_gsmr
Right — have been messing about with this thing for something like six months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I'd write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am UK based, generally do football and horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like. How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an ew payout would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I'd eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a simple single bet. Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you put in the price and your stake and it spits out profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, and that's where I'd always mess it up. If you want a look, it's here odds accumulator calculator and there's no login wall, which I appreciated. One thing that actually made a difference were the geekier bits. There's an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious how much the bookie's taking, and a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too for when I'm covering two or three runners. Not all sunshine though. Its layout looks pretty plain — not much flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it's usable although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There's no proper app, it's browser only — fine by me but worth saying. So yeah. Doesn't cost anything, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone still works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saves me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments.

Guest single_qgmr
OK — been using this thing for about a few months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I'd write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I'm in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I'm coming from. How I found it was actually embarrassing — I never could figure out what an e/w return would be when the place terms changed. Basically I'd wing it and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a simple single bet. Their single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you put in the price and your stake and it spits out the return with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, honestly that's where most people I know lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it's here yankee calc and there's no login wall, which I appreciated. One thing that genuinely changed how I bet were the nerdier tools. They've got an odds-to-probability thing that shows the overround, and there's the kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is handy too if I'm covering two or three runners. Not all sunshine though. Its layout looks a bit basic — no frills, it's clearly function over form. On mobile it works though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there's no app, just the site — doesn't bother me just flagging it. Right, that's me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone even now does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.
