Right — been on this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am in the UK, generally do football and horses, small stakes, for context.

How I found it was actually a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an each way payout would be when the place terms changed. Basically I'd eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I'm on daily — you put in stake and odds and it spits out returns instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where I'd always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it's over at odds calculator matched betting — free, no signup.

The thing that really shifted things for me is the more serious extras. There's an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin's baked in, and there's the kelly staking calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I'm splitting a race.

It's not perfect mind. The interface feels a bit basic — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it's fine though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.

So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments.
