Right — have been messing about with this thing for about five months now and I keep coming back, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I never could work out what an ew return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I'd wing it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in before every slip, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the one I open most — you put in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that's where most people I know got it wrong. If you want a look, it's over at online matched betting calculator — free, no signup.

One thing that genuinely made a difference were the more serious bits. They've got an implied probability converter and it makes obvious what margin's baked in, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I'm splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The interface looks pretty plain — zero polish, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On my phone it works although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it's browser only — fine by me just flagging it.

Anyway. Doesn't cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. If you honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

Right — been on this thing for something like four months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I'd write something up since someone asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, small stakes, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an ew return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I'd just eyeball it and get a shock. Now type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get returns straight away, either odds format. There's also the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that's where I'd always got it wrong. If you want a look, it's over at double calculator — free, no signup.

One thing that actually changed how I bet were the more serious bits. The implied probability calculator which shows you the overround, and there's the kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is decent for when I'm spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. Its layout looks pretty plain — zero frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On mobile it works though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There's no proper app, it's browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now adds it up in their head, try it — saved me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments.
